Last year, Moorview Property underwent a Strategy review with Jackie Tomes and it went so well and really helped us focus so much, that we've had 4 sessions since and have also undergone the same exercise with our development company KHP.

Clarity - knowing why you are doing what you are doing, and what the outcome you want is hugely powerful when making strategic and operational decisions. It's objective and therefore really helps in both management and team alignment and decision making

Values - a 'deep dive' in to the core values of your dream business means further clarity which is invaluable for both sales, marketing and operations and also hiring/firing, both in terms of team and also contractors and even business partners and clients

Roles and responsibilities - splitting out and discussing the core functions within the business means accountabilities and responsibilities can be allocated, preventing duplicated work and ensuring someone has ownership of the key areas required for business growth (sales and marketing, finance, HR, operations etc)

Milestone planning - working back from long term goals and objectives and breaking down targets in to immediate, mid term and long term actions and targets make the targets realistic and achievable

Accountability/objectivity - planning for the strategy sessions means having conversations that can so easily be missed when running a growing company & having strategy consultancy from somebody not involved in the day-to-day business, who can ask probing and challenging questions is fantastic in assessing why we do what we do
